Stamping Scrapping - Friends Come In All Shapes and Sizes

This card may look difficult to make, but it's not.  There are a lot of items in the supply list but it's fun to make and would be loved by anyone you give it to.

Friends Come In All Shapes and Sizes

Supplies Used:

Craft cardstock, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, folded in half for card base
White Cardstock (I used X-Press It for the copics)
Dress Forms Die by Spellbinders
All Dressed Up Stamp set by Stamping Scrapping
Card Creator Dies A2 Matting Basics Set A, Spellbinders
Card Creator Dies A2 Matting Basics Set B, Spellbinders
Die Cut Machine of your choice (I used the Grand Caliber by Spellbinders)
The Dress Form/Sewing page from the Paper Stash Kraft Resist paper by Tim Holtz
Tim Holtz Postal Texture Fade
Tim Holtz Ruler Ribbon
Perfect Pearls Mists in Heirloom Gold
Gold Embossing Powder by Zing
Neon Pink or Hot Pink Embossing Powder
Fluorescent Pink FRV1 Copic marker
Gold Stickles
Versamark or other Clear Embossing Ink Pad
Heat Gun
Small Scissors
Double sided tape or glue of your choice

Step by Step:

1.  Using your die cut machine, (a) cut and emboss the largest die of Card Creator Set A with black cardstock or black paper; (b) cut and emboss a piece of white card stock using the 2nd largest die of Set A for the inside of the card; (c) using the largest die of Set B cut the section of the paper with the dress forms that you want to use; then (d) cut and emboss, 3 times, the plain dress form die from the Dress Forms Die set with black cardstock or paper.

Section of paper you want to use.

Cutting and embossing multiple dies at the same time with the Grand Calibur by Spellbinders.

All the dies cut and embossed.
Note:  No matter which machine you use, you will have to cut and emboss about 3 times.

5.  Using the Postal texture fade, emboss the 3 black dress forms with your die cut machine.

6.  Spritz them with the Perfect Pearls in Heirloom Gold and allow to dry.  Set them aside.

Dress form die cuts after Perfect Pearls were used.
7.  Stamp the dress form image two times - with clear embossing ink and emboss with the gold embossing powder.  Heat set and trim.

8.  Using the largest dress image, stamp it in clear embossing powder, emboss with Black embossing powder and trim.  The dress has 3 layers.  Cut the bottom layer away so the image will fit on the card front.  The color the top layer with the Fluorescent Pink FRV1 Copic marker.  Apply the gold stickles to the layer below the pink.

9.  Stamp the belt 3 times in clear embossing powder and emboss with the Neon Pink or Hot Pink embossing powder.

10.  Glue the 2 dress form images you embossed in gold on top of the two of the black dress form diecuts and then glue the belt on the waist line.

11.  Using double sided tape or glue of your choice, adhere the printed paper piece to the black cardstock.  Then glue down a strip of the tape measure ribbon so it wraps around both pieces.  After that, glue this down to the card front.

Printed paper glued to black cardstock.

Ruler ribbon wrapped around both pieces.

Glued to card front.
12.  Glue the two dress forms that have the gold pieces and the pink belt to the front of the card front.

13.  Apply foam dots to the back of the 3rd dress form and glue to the front of the card so it's between the other two dress forms.  Then glue the large pink colored dress to the front of this dress form.

Foam pop dots on back of 3rd dress form.

Glued to front of card.

Pink skirt glued to dress form.
14.  Stamp the phrase "Friends come in all Shapes and Sizes" on white cardstock with black ink.

15.  Lay the smallest of the Set A dies over the image (secure with a piece of removable tape if you want).  Also lay the smallest of the Set B dies on a piece of black cardstock.  Cut and emboss both in your die cut machine.  Glue the phrase on the white cardstock to the black cardstock.

16.  Adhere the piece of white paper you cut and embossed in the beginning to the inside of the card.  Then adhere the phrase to the white paper.  And you are done!!
